Kate Middleton makes rare comment about Prince George’s school future during royal visit

The Princess of Wales, 43, opened up about her children, including Prince George, during a royal visit on Thursday, October 9. She visited a Home-Start centre in Oxford after recently writing an essay on the impact of technology on children and families. The centre supports parents and young children in building strong relationships and overcoming challenges.

Observing Children at Play

During her visit, Kate engaged with sisters Mariam Namakula and Sumayya Nabatanzi and their combined five children. According to HELLO!, she remarked, “The messier it is, the better the fun,” while observing the children enjoying themselves. She also noted that Princess Charlotte enjoys outdoor activities and creative projects, and reflected on how quickly her own children are growing.

Prince George Approaches Secondary School

Kate revealed that Prince George, 12, is about to begin secondary school next year. All three of her children currently attend Lambrook School in Berkshire. As George prepares to move on, the family has reportedly been exploring top UK schools, including Eton College and Marlborough College, where Kate herself studied.

While the choice of school has not been officially confirmed, reports suggest that Eton is a strong contender — a school both her husband, Prince William, and his brother Prince Harry attended. William enrolled in 1995 and Harry in 1998.

For now, royal fans will have to wait to see where the future king will continue his education, but Kate’s comments offer a rare glimpse into the family’s plans and their children’s growing independence.
