Prince William shares new birthday photo with George, Charlotte and Louis taken by Princess Kate

Princess Kate took the adorable new image of Prince William and their children in Norfolk last month.

Prince William’s 42nd birthday has been marked with the release of a new family photo, taken by Princess Kate in Norfolk last month.

The adorable photo shows the Prince of Wales leaping in the air with his three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six. All four of them are holding hands as they jump on Holkham beach and grin at the camera.

Kate wrote a message to accompany the new picture, which read: “Happy birthday Papa, we all love you so much! Cx.”

The family are dressed casually in shorts and T-shirts, with William opting for a navy hoody.

It marks a break away from the usual pictures released from the Royal Family with its relaxed and fun style.

The image also shows off Kate’s impressive photography skills, as capturing four people when they’re in the air is no mean feat.

Charlotte is on William’s right and is wearing a stripy ensemble and her long hair bounces in the air as she lifts one arm in the air. Louis is on the prince’s other side and appears a little more apprehensive about the leap, holding tightly to William and George’s hands.

The eldest child appears delighted as he smiles and waves directly at the camera.

Earlier on Friday, the official social media account of the Royal Family released a throwback photo of King Charles holding a baby Prince William.

Fans were quick to comment on the new Wales picture and were delighted to see another picture of the young family so soon after Kensington Palace released a similar image to mark Father’s Day last Sunday.

Commenting on the new birthday photo, one fan wrote: “Much love to you all today. Thank you for sharing this happiness with us. Happy Birthday, William.”

Another said: “Happy birthday Prince William and you can see there is so much love and happiness in his family. We can see that The Prince of Wales is a fun dad.”

A third wrote: “Happy birthday, William! I absolutely love how that photo turned out! Fantastic timing and lighting!”

The Father’s Day image showed Wiliam on the beach with his three children. They were all admiring the Norfolk coastline with their arms wrapped around each other.

The post also featured a message for William from the children, which read: “We love you, Papa. Happy Father’s Day [pink-heart emoji] G, C & L.”

It marked the first time George, Charlotte and Louis have ever shared a message on their parents’ social media platforms.
