Prince Harry is dramatically escorted out of High Court hearing by bodyguards after woman shouts

Prince Harry was escorted out of court today by his bodyguards after a woman disrupted the hearing about his security.

The woman, in her 50s, acted strangely in the public gallery, drawing attention from Harry’s security team. As Harry walked past, she suddenly shouted, “I support you Prince Harry!”

She later told the press, “You’re the reason he’s not in England,” before being removed from the building by court security.

Prince Harry’s taxpayer-funded security was cut after his highly unusual decision to quit royal duties and ‘spend most of the time abroad’, the High Court has heard
The royal, flanked by security guards, claimed he was ‘singled out’ for ‘inferior treatment’ after Mexit

Prince Harry flew from California to London to fight for automatic state-funded security, arguing he was unfairly treated after stepping down from royal duties. In court, he appeared visibly frustrated as the Home Office defended removing his top-level protection.

Lawyers argued that since Harry chose to live abroad and left royal duties, it was reasonable to cut full-time security. His legal team claimed he was “singled out” and that proper risk assessments weren’t followed.

The case, already costing UK taxpayers £500,000, continues behind closed doors.

The California-based royal is challenging the dismissal of his High Court legal action against the Home Office

Prince Harry is appealing the decision to downgrade his UK security, arguing he was treated unfairly after stepping back from royal duties. His lawyer, Ms Fatima, said he was “singled out” and given “inferior treatment” through a vague “bespoke” process by Ravec, the security committee.

She claimed Harry and Meghan stepped down in 2020 because they felt unprotected by the royal institution. Fatima also noted a lack of transparency, saying there were no formal records about how his security was handled.

However, the government’s lawyer, Sir James, defended Ravec’s decision, saying it considered Harry’s unique situation and wasn’t unfair. He added the process had some “positive advantages” for Harry.

Prince Harry arrived in the UK on Sunday, but King Charles was at Highgrove and flew directly to Rome on Monday with Queen Camilla, skipping any meeting with Harry.

While in the UK, Harry also missed a close friend’s wedding, despite being invited.

Harry continues to fight the 2020 decision that downgraded his security, arguing his family doesn’t feel safe in the UK without full police protection. His legal battle with the Home Office has cost taxpayers around £500,000.

His lawyer, Fatima KC, claims the decision was unfair and didn’t follow proper procedures. A ruling on the case is expected later.
