Tips and Tricks

This plant cures everything! From head to toe! It grows under our feet! A marvel of nature!

Today, we’re diving into the healing power of two amazing—but often overlooked—plants: plantain and walnut leaves.
They grow all around us, yet most people don’t realize how powerful they are when it comes to treating skin issues and boosting your overall health.

The Healing Power of Plantain Leaves

Plantain has been used for centuries for its healing abilities. It’s especially helpful for calming irritated skin and treating things like rashes, burns, and even psoriasis.

What you’ll need:

  • 3 fresh plantain leaves
  • 1 liter of water
  • 100 ml of olive oil

How to make plantain oil:

  1. Rinse the plantain leaves, dry them, and cut them into small pieces.
  2. Put the leaves in a glass jar and pour in the olive oil.
  3. In a saucepan, place a folded cloth at the bottom and add 1 liter of water.
  4. Set the jar on the cloth and gently heat it using a bain-marie (water bath) for 20 minutes.
  5. Stir the mixture, then strain the oil.
  6. Massage this oil into the skin using circular motions on the affected area.
  7. For added treatment:
  • Soak more plantain leaves in hot water for 5 minutes.
  • Wrap them around the problem area, cover with plastic wrap, and leave it on for 30 minutes.
  • Rinse with warm water afterward.

Tip: Store the oil in a glass jar for future use. It’s gentle, soothing, and helps your skin heal faster.

The Benefits of Walnut Leaves

Walnut leaves are packed with nutrients and powerful healing properties. They’re known to fight inflammation, viruses, and bacteria. They also contain vitamins (especially C and B), flavonoids, and plant acids that are great for your health and your skin.

What you’ll need:

  • Dried walnut leaves
  • Olive oil
  • A small piece of honeycomb (beeswax)

How to make walnut healing oil:

  1. Crush the dried walnut leaves into small bits.
  2. Put them in a jar and add just enough olive oil to cover the leaves.
  3. Heat the jar in a bain-marie for 20 minutes.
  4. Strain the oil.
  5. Add a small piece of honeycomb to the warm oil.
  6. Gently melt the beeswax in the oil mixture using the water bath again.

How to use it:

  • Rub the oil gently into your skin using circular motions.
  • Place 3 walnut leaves over the treated area, then wrap it with plastic film.
  • Let it sit for 30 minutes, then remove.

This oil is not only great for healing the skin, but it also boosts your immune system and gives your body a healthy, natural glow.
