Detail in new Archie picture confirms rumors are true

After stepping back from royal duties, Harry and Meghan’s children—Archie and Lilibet—now officially hold royal titles. The change came after King Charles became monarch, aligning with King George V’s 1917 rules.

While Buckingham Palace updated the titles online, the couple won’t use them daily. A spokesperson said Archie and Lilibet will choose when they’re older. For now, “prince” and “princess” are for formal use only.

The children live in California, mostly out of the spotlight. They haven’t been seen much since the couple’s Netflix series. It’s unclear if they’ve met their UK cousins.

Though distant from royal life, Princess Eugenie remains close to Harry and has visited the family in the U.S., possibly keeping some family ties alive.

Princess Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell, claims Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are being “cast out” of royal life through no fault of their own.

Speaking to the Mirror, he said the children may one day ask, “Why weren’t we part of that world?” despite being prince and princess by title.

“They didn’t choose this—Harry and Meghan chose for them,” he said, adding that the children are being denied their royal heritage.

Burrell also noted that Meghan has cut ties with much of her family, leaving Archie and Lilibet with few connections beyond her mother, Doria.

Meanwhile, Harry’s decision to shield Archie’s birth from public attention reportedly upset royal aides. Royal biographer Katie Nicholl said Harry was “morbidly obsessed” with privacy.

Despite staying out of the spotlight, Archie was recently seen in a new photo featured in Harry’s Invictus Games Netflix documentary—now 4 years old, holding a toy and wearing a sweater with a bold “A” on the front.

Prince Harry Opens Up About Archie in New Documentary

In the Heart of Invictus series, Prince Harry gave a touching speech during the 2022 Invictus Games, offering a rare glimpse into life with his son, Archie.

Speaking to the athletes, Harry said:“When I ask Archie what he wants to be when he grows up, some days it’s an astronaut, other days a helicopter pilot—obviously—or Kwazii from Octonauts,” he joked, referencing his son’s favorite cartoon.

“But I always remind him: it’s your character that matters most. And nothing would make his mum and me prouder than seeing him grow up with the same strength and courage we see in all of you.”
