Ex-Girlfriend Revealed A Sh0cking Truth About Harry & Meghan About Their Actions On Trooping The Colour Day

Meghan Markle’s Former Friend Slams Royal Exit: “They Had It All,” Says TV Personality

Nearly five years after stepping away from royal duties, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continue to draw criticism—this time from someone who claims to have once been in Meghan’s inner circle.

British television personality Lizzie Cundy, who says she formed a brief friendship with Markle in 2013, has voiced strong opinions about the couple’s post-royal path. Speaking in a recent interview, Cundy suggested that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex turned their backs on a privileged position—one she believes they didn’t fully appreciate.

“They complain, they criticize, and frankly, they don’t seem very grateful,” Cundy said. “They had it all.”

Her remarks come just after the couple’s absence from Trooping the Colour 2025—a celebration of King Charles III’s official birthday—held in London on June 15. While many members of the royal family appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony to mark the occasion, Harry and Meghan were notably missing from the scene.

Cundy also alluded to a personal rift with the Duchess, sharing that their friendship allegedly ended shortly after Meghan began dating Prince Harry in 2016. According to Cundy, the communication stopped abruptly.

“I introduced her to people, I tried to help her, and then she ghosted me,” Cundy claimed. “When Harry came into the picture, I never heard from her again.”

Meanwhile, in contrast to the public spectacle in London, the Sussexes spent their weekend privately in the U.S. In a rare social media post shared on Sunday, June 16—Father’s Day in the UK—Meghan posted a video tribute to Harry featuring clips of him with their children.

“Happy Father’s Day to our favorite guy,” read the caption, giving royal fans a glimpse into their family life away from the spotlight.
