The Duchess of Sussex may be preparing for a high-profile return to the United Kingdom early next year, sparking renewed talk of a possible royal thaw.
According to bookmakers, Meghan Markle could make her first visit to Britain in years as soon as February 2026.
Odds on Meghan’s London Comeback
Online betting platform Casino Beats has given 2/1 odds that the 44-year-old Duchess will attend London Fashion Week, which takes place from February 19 to 23, 2026.
The prediction follows Meghan’s unexpected appearance at Paris Fashion Week, where she attended Balenciaga’s Spring 2026 show by creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli.
“Meghan Markle’s return to Europe has reignited her connection to the fashion world, and traders now see a London Fashion Week comeback as a very real possibility at 2/1,” said Casino Beats spokesperson Ollie Ring.
The upcoming London event will feature renowned designers such as Burberry, Simone Rocha, Erdem, and Roksanda — all of whom Meghan has previously worn.
Fashion Ambitions and Growing Influence
Markle has often expressed her passion for style and design, and her appearance in Paris has fueled growing speculation that she could soon debut her own clothing label.
ELLE magazine described her Paris outing as “a business move by someone building a media and lifestyle empire.” Writer Naomi May noted, “Make no mistake: Markle is systematically positioning herself as a serious player in the luxury lifestyle space.”
“The timing and intention behind her Paris debut signals something more strategic — she’s actively cultivating relationships with culture’s most influential power players,” May added.
Ring echoed that sentiment, saying, “There’s also growing confidence she could take control of her own fashion narrative with a personal label — the 6/4 odds reflect genuine momentum behind that idea.”
“Whether it’s the Met Gala, the metaverse, or even hosting her own event, it’s clear Meghan’s influence in the style sphere is only expanding,” he continued.
Life in the U.S. and Royal Ties
Since stepping back from royal duties in 2020, Meghan has lived in the United States with Prince Harry and their two children while running her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
Harry has made several visits to the UK — most recently in September to see his father, King Charles III — but Meghan has not returned since Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in 2022.
Her relationship with the royal family, especially the Prince and Princess of Wales, remains tense, though she reportedly still maintains a friendship with Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank.
Could a Royal Reunion Be on the Horizon?
With King Charles, 76, continuing treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer, royal watchers believe Meghan’s potential trip could present an opportunity for reconciliation within the family.
When asked by The Guardian in September whether he hoped to bring Archie and Lilibet back to the UK, Harry seemed hopeful.
“Yes, I would. This week has definitely brought that closer,” he said.
