“She Doesn’t Look Healthy”: Princess Catherine’s 2025 Wimbledon Look Stirs Concern

Catherine, Princess of Wales, made two high-profile appearances at Wimbledon 2025, once again turning heads with her refined sense of style—and sparking both admiration and quiet concern from the public.

On July 12, during the trophy presentation for the Women’s Singles Final, Catherine stepped onto Centre Court wearing a lemon-yellow set from Self-Portrait. The tailored short-sleeve top and pleated midi skirt made for a crisp, elegant pairing. She accessorized with beige slingback heels by Gianvito Rossi, an Anya Hindmarch tote, and her signature Cartier Ballon Bleu timepiece—a sentimental gift from Prince William during their 2014 tour of Australia.

The next day, she returned to the All England Club accompanied by Prince William and their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, for the Gentlemen’s Singles Final. This time, Catherine opted for a royal blue dress with a flattering V-neckline and soft shoulder pleats. Her jewelry included Cartier’s classic Trinity Hoop Earrings and Daniella Draper’s fine gold and diamond necklace, adding a note of understated luxury.

While the tennis court saw Italy’s Jannik Sinner and Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz face off in a gripping final, Catherine’s appearance also drew attention from fans in the stands and online. As she approached the trophy table to present the awards, one voice from the crowd called out, “I love you, Kate!”—eliciting a warm, amused smile from the royal.

Praise and concern meet in online reactions

As images from the Princess’s Wimbledon outings circulated online, social media lit up with admiration for her polished look and graceful demeanor. Many users praised her choice of outfits, calling her “elegant as ever” and “the epitome of royal style.”

But amid the praise, some viewers voiced concern over Catherine’s noticeably slender frame. A number of users expressed hope that her appearance was due to camera angles or lighting, with others drawing comparisons to the late Princess Diana. “She looks lovely, but far too thin,” one commenter wrote. Another added, “Beautiful, yes—but I hope she’s okay.”

Some critics were more blunt, calling her appearance “worrying” or suggesting she appeared “unwell.” Others tried to strike a more compassionate tone, acknowledging her ongoing public duties while gently expressing concern about her health and well-being.

Despite the mix of opinions, messages of goodwill were widespread. Many commented on how good it was to see the Princess in public again, especially after the royal family’s recent health challenges. Some noted how composed and poised she seemed throughout both days, calling the Wales family “graceful” and “unshakable.”

After more than a decade of attending Wimbledon, Catherine has become nearly as much a part of the summer tradition as the tournament itself. Her courtside presence continues to capture public attention—not just for what she wears, but for what she symbolizes to a nation watching her closely.
