Days after the worrying Kate Middleton news, a royal insider has spilled an update on her health

There’s been so much said about Kate Middleton over the past few weeks that it almost feels like the public conversation is going in circles — full of questions but few clear answers.

Back in January, Kensington Palace announced that the Princess of Wales had undergone a “planned abdominal procedure” that required a 13-day hospital stay. At the time, officials explained that her recovery would keep her away from royal duties until after Easter.

In hindsight, it was perhaps optimistic to think that the public would quietly accept her extended absence without demanding more details. The lack of specific information has only fueled intense speculation and conspiracy theories, with new rumors about her condition surfacing daily.

The frenzy reached a peak after the Mother’s Day photo controversy, when the first official image of Kate since Christmas was pulled by several major agencies for being “manipulated.” The Princess later apologized, admitting she had made some edits to the picture herself. Still, royal watchers remain eager for clarity — not only about her health but also about her future role within the monarchy.

Now, a new report claims to offer a reassuring update. According to The Daily Mirror, a royal insider says Kate is recovering well and is expected to return to public engagements within the next few weeks, earlier than initially projected.

“The rumor mill — particularly on social media — has gotten out of control,” the source said. “But Kate is recovering well and she will be back by Easter. She just needs to be left in peace.”

If accurate, this would come as a relief to those who have expressed concern since her January surgery.

However, not all reports share the same optimism. RadarOnline recently claimed that the Princess may be considering stepping back from her royal duties altogether, citing the pressures of life in the public eye.

“Kate’s desperate struggle with the constant pressures of life in the royal fishbowl has clearly taken a terrible toll on her physical and mental health,” a senior palace source told the National Enquirer.

The insider added that her time away from the spotlight has only strengthened her resolve to potentially walk away from royal life for good.

“She spent weeks staying out of the public eye after her operations — and it’s only strengthened her resolve to quit,” the source claimed, adding that Prince William is “beside himself” over the idea.

“He’s stunned his wife could ever consider such a move,” they said.

As rumors continue to swirl, one thing is certain — public fascination with the Princess of Wales shows no signs of slowing. Whether she returns to her duties as planned or decides to step back for good, the world will be watching closely.

For now, royal fans can only hope that Kate’s recovery continues smoothly and that she’ll soon make her long-awaited return to the public stage.
