Donald Trump’s brutal remark about Prince William’s appearance after meeting him

Donald Trump has never been one to shy away from speaking his mind, and after a recent encounter with Prince William, he didn’t hold back.

The Prince of Wales and the former president-elect had a meeting in Paris late last year, following the grand reopening of the Notre-Dame cathedral, which had undergone extensive reconstruction after the devastating fire in 2019. Trump later shared that the conversation between the UK and US representatives went smoothly.

During the meeting, the two reportedly spoke about their families, including an update on King Charles III’s health, as he continues his battle with cancer. With the King stepping back from public duties due to treatment, Prince William has taken on more responsibilities.

It seems the brief meeting made quite an impression on Trump, who had nothing but kind words for the Prince of Wales.
Speaking with the New York Post, Trump said, “He looked really, very handsome last night. Some people look better in person. He looked great. He looked really nice, and I told him that.

“And I asked him about his wife and he said she’s doing well. I asked him about his father and his father is fighting very hard, and he loves his father and he loves his wife, so it was sad.”

He went on to say, “We had a great talk for half an hour, a little more than half an hour. We had a great, great talk.”

Trump has also spoken openly in the past about other members of the British Royal Family, once insisting that Queen Elizabeth II was especially fond of him.
“Many people have said I was her favourite president,” he previously claimed.

According to Metro, the 78-year-old Republican also recently extended his well wishes to King Charles through a conversation with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.

A spokesperson for Downing Street said, “The Prime Minister spoke to President Trump this evening. The president opened by wishing His Majesty the King best wishes and good health.”

Earlier this year, Trump also weighed in on Prince Harry, who now resides in California with his wife Meghan Markle and their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

When asked about calls for Prince Harry to be deported, following claims by a US think tank that his visa may have been improperly granted after he admitted drug use in his memoir, Trump brushed the idea aside.

“I don’t want to do that. I’ll leave him alone. He’s got enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible,” he told the New York Post.
