How to clean an electric fan

There is a simple way to clean the fan, no need to disassemble, no need to wash, but the effect is surprising to many people. The fan is an indispensable device in families, especially in hot weather.

However, after a period of use, the fan will accumulate a lot of dirt, causing loss of aesthetics as well as potential health risks for people. There is a simple way to clean the fan blades, no need to disassemble, no need to wash, but the effect is surprising to many people.

1. How to clean the fan blades without needing to disassemble, no need to wash

+ Preparation:

– 1 bowl; 1 water spray bottle;

– 250ml water

– 2 teaspoons baking soda;

– Dishwashing liquid;

– 1 teaspoon white vinegar;

+ Implementation:

– Mix the cleaning solution

Step 1: First, put baking soda in a bowl with white vinegar according to the prepared amount.

Step 2: Next, add about 2-3 drops of dishwashing liquid, then use chopsticks to stir the mixture to create a foamy product.

Step 3: Mix thoroughly so that the baking soda can dissolve completely. And finally, pour the solution into the prepared water spray bottle.

– Clean the fan blades

To protect yourself and help keep the fan from being damaged during the cleaning process, you first need to unplug the power plug before starting to clean.

You proceed to spray the mixed solution on the front and back of the dirty fan blades. Thanks to that solution, it will soften stubborn dirt because the effect of vinegar combined with the cleaning ability of dishwashing liquid will help remove stains and bacteria stuck on the fan wall.

In addition, the extremely strong bleaching ability of baking soda will bring you a pure white fan like the beginning.

After spraying the solution, leave it for about 10 minutes for the dirt to be destroyed, then plug in the power and turn on the fan switch.

At that time, the rotating fan blades will create wind that makes the cleaning solution splash, dragging along ugly black dirt.

Thus, it only takes a few minutes to prepare and mix the solution, and you can completely remove stubborn dirt without having to spend a lot of effort or time like the traditional way, and especially anyone can do it.

How often should you clean an electric fan?

Users are often advised to clean electric fans 2-3 times a year. Regular cleaning of the fan will help the fan operate stably, prolong its lifespan and improve human health.

On the contrary, if the place where you live is not too dusty and you see a lot of dust on the fan blades, it is best to clean the fan once a month during the hottest season and about once every 3 months during the cold season, when the fan is rarely used.
