Ingredients:
- 700 ml organic apple cider vinegar (with the mother)
- 1/4 cup finely minced garlic
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 of the hottest fresh chili peppers you can find (careful – wear gloves!)
- 1/4 cup grated fresh ginger root
- 2 tablespoons grated horseradish
- 2 tablespoons ground turmeric OR 2 thumb-sized pieces of fresh turmeric
Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except the vinegar.
2. Transfer this mix to a large glass jar.
3. Fill the jar with apple cider vinegar until the ingredients are fully submerged (aim for 2/3 solids, 1/3 vinegar).
4. Seal tightly and shake well.
5. Store the jar in a cool, dark place for 2 weeks. Shake or stir it once or twice daily.
6. After 14 days, strain the liquid through a fine strainer or cheesecloth.
7. Store the liquid in a sealed glass bottle. No refrigeration is needed.
How to Use It
This tonic is very spicy — you’ve been warned!
- Take 1 tablespoon daily to support immune health.
- If you’re battling an infection, increase to 5–6 tablespoons per day, spaced throughout the day.
- Follow each dose with a slice of lemon, orange, or lime to ease the burn.
- Don’t mix it with water — this weakens its effects.
- Safe for pregnant women and children (use small amounts), as it contains only food-based ingredients.
