Prince Harry Argues He And Meghan Were ‘Forced’ To Step Down As Working Royals Due To ‘Inferior Treatment’

Prince Harry reportedly feels he’s being unfairly targeted and subjected to inferior treatment in the aftermath of his and Meghan Markle’s departure from royal duties.

The Duke of Sussex recently returned to the UK to attend a two-day court hearing in London, where he voiced frustrations over how he has been treated since stepping back from his role as a senior royal.

During the proceedings, Harry stated that he and Meghan were left with little choice but to withdraw from their royal positions. A major reason for their decision, he said, was the lack of adequate protection from the institution — something he believes he and his family were entitled to.

Having flown more than 5,000 miles from the US, Harry appeared at the Royal Courts of Justice to personally support his appeal against a prior ruling that denied him the right to receive publicly funded security while in the UK.

However, the Home Office’s legal representative argued that Harry’s case demonstrates a continued inability to grasp the broader context.

Coinciding with his visit, The Daily Mail reported that Harry was unable to see his father, King Charles, as the monarch departed for an official trip to Italy around the same time Harry’s flight landed.
