Prince Harry’s Brutal Reaction To Meghan Markle’s Graphic X-Rated Scene

Spare a moment for Prince Harry—imagine having to watch your spouse in a steamy on-screen moment. He’s been open about how he really feels about Meghan Markle’s past as an actress.

Most people wouldn’t enjoy seeing their partner getting intimate with someone else, even if it’s all part of the job. While actors know it’s make-believe, it can still be tough on their real-life relationships. Some spouses avoid watching such scenes entirely, while others try to be supportive and trust in their partner’s professionalism.

Before Meghan became the Duchess of Sussex, she was best known for playing Rachel Zane on the hit legal series Suits. She starred on the show from 2011 to 2018, and met Prince Harry in 2016, right in the middle of her run.

Her role on Suits reportedly didn’t sit well with the Royal Family. According to the Mirror, palace officials intervened in how her final episodes were handled. Scripts were edited, and they specifically requested that no photos of Meghan in a wedding dress be released. The Express even reported that she was told to wear a jacket between takes to hide the dress.

Prince Harry later reflected on Meghan’s acting past and how it affected him personally. Meghan herself had spoken fondly about her time on Suits, especially when asked about working with an attractive cast. In a 2015 interview, she joked: “I mean, how do you even answer that? No. Absolutely not. It’s one of the job perks, right?”

Since their relationship began, Meghan and Harry have lived under constant public scrutiny, with every aspect of their romance dissected. Despite being proud of Meghan’s accomplishments, Prince Harry admitted in his memoir Spare that watching some of her scenes made him deeply uncomfortable.

In the book, released in 2023, Harry detailed how it felt to see his wife in intimate scenes from her acting days. “I’d witnessed her [Markle] and a castmate mauling each other in some sort of office or conference room,” he wrote.

One particular moment from the season two finale of Suits stuck with him. It left him so rattled that he half-joked he might need “electric shock therapy” to erase the image. As he put it, “I didn’t need to see such things live.”

Despite the awkwardness and emotional toll, Harry and Meghan recently celebrated their wedding anniversary, sharing glimpses of their life together through a heartfelt photo collage. Their relationship has weathered both royal expectations and public attention—and clearly, some uncomfortable TV moments too.
